The focus of my training and practice has been on the problem-solving aspects of healthcare in addition to offering excellence in massage and related services. My current studies focus on techniques for stress resilience and self-regulation of persistent pain symptoms.
Before I became a RMT, I was an educator, exploring Europe, Asia, and I had no designs to return to Canada. In 2006, I traveled to India and spent some time in Thailand, where I took an Ayruveda massage course and eventually a practitioner and Instructor of Thai Massage at the ITM school in 2008.
I graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 2010. I have worked with a variety of conditions and abilities in diverse populations, and I have worked in three distinct geographical ares of Ontario – Waterloo Region, Ottawa, and here in the Thousand Islands.
I am a registered member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO), an active member and CBN coordinator of the Registered Massage Therapists Association of Ontario (RMTAO), and a registered member of the Accessible Yoga Organization.
