Randal Dyzak, PT

Randal Dyzak is a Physiotherapist with over 25 years of professional experience. He graduated from Queens University in 1988 and then after receiving an advanced scholarship, he later furthered his clinical professional education at the University of Curtin in Australia. Randal was awarded top honours in his graduating class of internationally recognized Orthopaedic Manipulative Physiotherapists. Through additional postgraduate courses and clinical involvement Randal has attained the highest level of Orthopaedic training in the profession of Physiotherapy and is identified as a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Therapists (FCAMT). Randal also has achieved a medical certificate in Traditional Acupuncture.
Randal has had the opportunity to work with various patients’ populations including Olympic Athletes, Professional Athletes as well as weekend warriors. Randal often suggests that weather you are a well seasoned athlete, an injured worker or a senior wanting to remain active or are recovering from a medical condition, there are similar approaches to treatment that will achieve the best possible recovery. Randal often suggests that his past experiences and advanced clinical training allow him to access many treatment tools which he can utilize to assist in his patients who are seeking the benefits of physiotherapy. Randal additionally specializes in the assessment and provision of Orthopaedic bracing and custom foot orthotics. These orthopaedic devices may be necessary for patients to achieve their optimal ability to return to pre-injury function.
Paul Davison, PT

Paul is a Master of Science in Physical Therapy candidate at Queen’s University who graduated in Sept. 2019. Paul passed his written component of the Physiotherapy Competency Examination in August, 2019 and is scheduled to challenge the practical component in November 2019.
As part of the physical therapy program at Queen’s University, Paul gained clinical orthopedic experience working with members of the military at the Department of National Defence, and the general population of Kingston. Paul has also worked in spinal cord rehabilitation at Providence Care Hospital, and orthopedic acute care at Kingston General Hospital.
Paul has successfully completed a vestibular rehabilitation course offered through the Advanced Physical Therapy Education Institute, and can now identify, assess, and provide evidence-based treatments for people experiencing peripheral vestibular disorders and benign paroxysmal positional vertigo. Paul is also in the process of completing a concussion management course through the Complete Concussion Management Incorporation.
Paul lives a very active lifestyle by participating in regular weight training and cardiovascular endurance training. Paul currently plays recreational ice hockey, and played competitive hockey and lacrosse growing up.

Karlene graduated in April, 2018 with a Bachelor of Applied Health Science in Athletic Therapy from Sheridan Institute of Technology & Advance Learning and received her Certified Athletic Therapy Certification in June, 2018.
Karlene is currently enrolled in the Advanced Standing Massage Therapy at Ontario College - Health & Technology
Karlene places a great emphasis on using a global approach when assessing and treating injuries. She incorporates a very hands on and active approach therapy to restore joint mobility, whole body strength and flexibility, and improving the quality of life to ensure you can return back to your everyday, working or active lifestyle pain free. Her treatment methods consists of injury education, soft tissue release, myofascial release, joint mobilization, Muscle Energy Technique, therapeutic modalities, concussion management, cranial therapy and sport/work/active daily life specific exercise programs to help recondition injuries and to prevent future injuries.
Outside the clinic, Karlene has worked as a therapist for numerous sporting events providing injury assessments, athletic taping and emergency care:
High school sports coverage (football, badminton, volleyball, hockey, soccer, basketball)
College varsity teams (women’s softball and soccer)

Karlene is a very active individual who has participated in a variety of sports and activities, including hockey, track and field, scuba diving, skiing/snowboarding, badminton, cross country, short track speed skating, fishing, hiking, horseback riding and swimming.

McKenzie graduated Georgian College with an advanced diploma in massage therapy June 2014.
At Georgian College McKenzie gained clinical experience in Pregnancy massage, sports massage, geriatrics, palitive/cancer treatments and massage aiding in fibromyalgia/complex care.
Within the past 5 years she has added cupping, soft tissue release, indie head massage and deep tissue massage to her growing knowledge.
McKenzie strives to empower clients to take control of their lives and conquer their pain before it becomes long term. She is devoted to providing her clients with a relaxing environment and getting you back to peak condition.

Kate Selleck is our Pilates Instructor here at MoveWell and the Director of Pine Street Pilates.
She has been practicing Pilates for more than half her life, and has been helping people move better for the past fourteen years.
Kate specializes in rehabilitative movement for shoulders, hips, knees, and backs,
with an emphasis on building a strong core, good posture and better gait.

When you visit our clinic, the first face you will see is Kristi. She is the welcoming face of MoveWell Rehabilitation Services.
Kristi graduated from St. Lawrence College in 2016 with a diploma in Office Administration. Kristi was born and raised here in Gananoque, a lot of you may know her from Pet Valu Gananoque as she had worked there for many years.
Kristi enjoys her time spent at home living in the country where her and her husband have two cats (Tory & Oliver), a bunch of chickens and a pekin duck named Lucy.
